S. Rana & Co. Participated in the Walk for Life, Stride Against Cancer

In
keeping with the sportsman spirit from the annual sports day
held just the day before, S.S. Rana & Co. and our trust Vidya Darshan Rana Charitable Trust took
part in the Cancer Walk organized by CanSupport (website: www.cansupport.org),
an organisation founded in 1996 to provide Home Care for cancer patients in
Delhi, Day Care and Counselling Service as well as Training in Palliative Care.
The organisation was founded with the vision of a caring and supportive society
where cancer patients and their families live with dignity, hope and comfort.
To
support this noble cause and mission, thousands of people, individuals as well
as schools and corporations, from all walks of life came out on the cold Sunday
morning to participate in the walk and push the awareness drive, ahead of the World
Cancer Day on February 4, 2016.
The
Walk for Life is being organized continuously since the past 9 years. As a
social responsibility, members of S.S.
Rana & Co. alongwith Vidya
Darshan Rana Charitable Trust took part in the 3 kilometre stride to raise
awareness about cancer in India and to show solidarity towards those affected
with cancer.
